Our response to the Covid-19 pandemic is constantly evolving, as we work with the latest information available and our teams apply it to their context and locations. The social and emotional challenges people face every day continue and, in some cases have been magnified. Homelessness, family violence, loneliness, anxiety, depression, and disengagement from community continue to impact our communities.
As restrictions ease, we are continuing to adapt to find ways to connect and build community, while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our teams, volunteers and participants through ensuring hygiene, social distancing and other regulations are adhered to. We have started to re-open our Op Shops and other enterprises and are delivering a range of modified, online and in person youth and community services. Please check with your nearest Fusion centre for information specific to your local region.
COVID-19, following the bushfire crisis, has had a significant impact on our organisation and others in the sector. Whilst what we do may continue to look different for the next few months, what hasn’t changed is our commitment to see transformed communities where young people thrive.
